A study conducted by Roslow Research Group for Hispanic U.S.A. shows the number of Spanish-speaking Hispanics will actually increase drastically over the next 20 years as opposed to the assumption that use of the language would fall for the US Hispanic population.

The "The Future Use of the Spanish Language in the USA Projected to 2015 and 2025" study projected that the amount of Spanish-dominant and bilingual Latinos would grow by 45% or approximately 12.4 million people by 2025.

As for individual age groups, the over 18 group will see a jump of 53% to 15.2 million by 2025 with the Hispanic A18-49 group increasing by 7.5 million (to nearly 60% of all Spanish speakers).
